You can change the entire atmosphere of a room by simply lighting a scented glass candle. Most people enjoy the smell of scented candles simply because the fragrance relaxes them and can stimulate pleasurable memories, taking them back to different times in their lives
How to use:
Be sure the wick is only 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch high before you light it.
Notice how wide the glass is. For every inch across, burn for one hour. So if it is a two-inch wide candle, you will need to burn it a minimum of 2 hours. If it is a four-inch candle, burn it 4 hours.
After the minimum hours of burning, blow the wick out carefully, being sure to keep the wick straight and in the center of the glass or wax area as the wax hardens. This is especially true in a container glass candles.
If it is a container candle, the goal is to get an even "wet pool" around the wick to the edge of the container (this is liquid wax that will pool across the total area of the surface of the container). Sometimes you may be too busy and only burn for 1/2 the amount of time. To correct this, be sure you burn the candle the next time, achieving the full "wet pool" to the edge of the container. This may stop it from further tunneling.
Duration: 50 hours
Where to use:
The kitchen is the natural place for scented glass candles. Burn a scented candle that smells like vanilla or orange. Fruit scents are nice for summer. For a pretty breakfast table decoration, kitchen window sill.
Scented glass candles can grace the vanity or back of the toilet. Line the edge of the bathtub.
